Smart Lighting Creates the Perfect Atmosphere
Lighting is a key element of every home. Apart from ensuring we don't bump into walls or doors, it completes the atmosphere. A smart home brings this to perfection because it includes smart home lighting. For example, when we come home, the entrance hall lights up automatically so we don't stumble. Moreover, we can set various light scenes that we simply switch between as needed – one for a quiet romantic dinner, another for a big birthday party, and so on.
What is your home capable of?
Lighting Scenes
When cooking, we want the workspace and hob perfectly lit, while during a meal, we want just the light above the kitchen table to shine. When watching TV, we run a dim lighting scene in the living room. With a smart home, you don't have to run around flipping one switch after another to get from one state to the next. Simply change the scene – from your mobile, tablet, or a press of a switch.
Automatic lighting upon arrival
At moments when you have both hands full of shopping bags or are carrying a child to the nursery, you will appreciate that the lights turn on automatically as you walk through individual rooms.
'Goodnight' button
Did you leave the lights on in the kitchen? You can put similar questions out of your mind before falling asleep – with a single button from your bedroom, you turn off all lights in the entire house and set the night lighting mode.
Night lighting
Night trips to the toilet don't have to be an unpleasant experience for you or your children. A system of sensors lights the way from the room to the toilet with a dim light that won't disturb your sleep but ensures a safe return to a warm bed. The light turns off automatically after a set time – for example, after three minutes.
Colored scenes
The right color says more than a thousand words. Utilize various distinct scenes, such as dimmed lighting in the bedroom or living room.
Smarteon Tip: Warm tones will lull you to sleep
Artificial light, specifically the blue component emitted by electronic devices, disrupts our sleep. It suppresses the production of melatonin, which functions as a sleep hormone. Smart lighting prepares you for sleep – in the evening, it changes the color to "warmer" tones everywhere necessary. In the children's room, perhaps as early as 8 PM; in the living room, an hour later.
Components for Smart Lighting
Motion sensors give the house information about where you are and where it should light up.
Dimmable lights allow you to adjust the lighting intensity to suit your current mood and needs.
Colored lights allow for changing multi-colored scenes and altering the light temperature in the evening hours.
LED strips illuminate larger surfaces with indirect light – for example, around the perimeter of a room.
Philips Hue bulbs are smart bulbs that you can control individually remotely from your tablet or phone.
Designer fixtures can also be integrated into our solution – choose exactly what fits your interior best.
Studio and outdoor lights are controlled just as simply as a bedside lamp in your room.
